Day Care Program

Day Care Program

7:00 AM to 9:00 AM & 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

The Day Care program is designed to give working parents the full value of a Montessori Education. Children may arrive at the school at 7:00 am and stay until 6:00 pm. Before and after Montessori classes, the children spend time in a non-academic setting that provides opportunities for free play, fantasy play, role play, large muscle activities and structured art.

This is a balance program which offers the children an opportunity for intellectual growth and social interaction, combined with a vast amount of warmth and affection from a trained staff.

Exploring Beyond
the Classroom

Columbia Montessori School offers seasonal field trips and special programs throughout the year. Fall trips include visits to Larriland Farm for pumpkin picking and hay rides. During winter, performers such as musicians, magicians, and puppeteers visit the school. Spring outings include local petting farms, while summer camp features in-school entertainment programs.

Summer Program

Summer Program

Our summer program is a fun and adventurous journey filled with learning, creativity, and exploration. Each year, our theme is inspired by cultural studies and topics such as a study of the world, children around the world, and cultural understanding.

We enjoy a variety of activities including theme-based music, swimming pool time, yoga, art, science fun, and outdoor adventures. Children participate in hands-on science experiences, lots of arts and crafts, and music that brings our theme to life.

This year, our 2026 theme is Rumba Through South America!

Summer camp is full of excitement, discovery, and unforgettable moments—with plenty of playground time and new friends too!
